Emma becomes an instant outcast, and a national headline, when her high school cancels the prom rather than let her attend with her girlfriend. Sensing a chance to correct an injustice, and maybe get some good publicity along the way, a group of fading celebrities takes up the cause, and invades Emma's small Indiana town. But their bumbling attempts at social activism make the situation far worse than they, or Emma, could have ever imagined.

Casey Nicholaw directs this new musical from the writing team Chad Beguelin (book/lyrics) and Matthew Sklar (music). Caitlin Kinnunen leads the cast as Emma and is joined by Anna Grace Barlow as Alyssa, Brooks Ashmanskas as Barry Glickman, Courtenay Collins as Mrs. Greene, Collins Conley as Ashley, Angie Schworer as Angie, Christopher Sieber as Trent Oliver, Clayton Landey as Sheldon Saperstein, Beth Leavel as Dee Dee Allen, Becca Lee as Mandy, and Martin Moran as Mr. Hawkins. Completing the ensemble are Josh Lamon, Kate Marilley, Isabelle McCalla, Chris Medlin, Becca Petersen, Brendon Stimson, Teddy Toye, Aléna Watters, Mary Antonini, DeMarius R. Copes, Kevin Csolak, Shelby Finnie, Josh Franklin, Damon J. Gillespie, Sheldon Henry, and Michelle West.

The design team comprises Larry Hochman (orchestrations), Peter Hylenski (sound design), Josh Marguette (hair design), Scott Pask (set design), Ken Posner (lighting design), and Ann Roth (costume design).

Performances run through September 25.
