Williamstown Theatre Festival Announces Additional Summer Programming

Plays by Lucy Thurber and more will be staged at the summer festival in the Berkshires.

Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced details for its 2017 summer season's special programming and events.

The festival's beloved late-night cabaret series will run July 13-15, July 27-29, and August 10-12, featuring ensemble and solo performances from festival artists. A similar series, Late-Night @ The Log!, will feature festival guest artists performing at the Log on Spring Street July 7-8, 21-22, and August 4-5.

Williamstown's Community Works, bringing together local residents and professional theater artists to make plays for and about the Berkshires, will present Lucy Thurber's Once Upon a Time in the Berkshires August 13-16, directed by Laura Savia.

The 2017 Boris Sagal Fellowship/Drama League Residency has been awarded to Jenna Worsham, who will direct a new play by Abby Rosebrock with performances on August 14 and 15. The 2017 Bill Foeller Fellow is Estefania Fadul, who will be assisting Rebecca Taichman on The Clean House and will direct two productions of her own in the Directing Studio.
