Full Cast, Creative Team Set for The Clean House at New Rep

The full cast and creative team are set for the New Repertory Theatre production of The Clean House by Sarah Ruhl, February 26-March 23. Directed by Rick Lombardo, this play was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 2005, and received The Susan Smith Blackburn Prize in 2004.

The Clean House is a comedy about Matilde, a young Brazilian woman who hates to clean, that Lane and Charles have hired to clean their home. Ruhl’s other works include Dead Man’s Cell Phone, Melancholy Play, Eurydice, and Orlando and Late: a cowboy song.

The cast will feature Nancy E. Carroll (Virginia), Will Lyman (Charles), Cristi Miles (Matilde), Paula Plum (Lane), and Bobbie Steinbach (Ana). The creative team will include Cristina Tedesco (set design), Deb Sullivan (lighting design), and Chip Schoonmaker (costume design).
