David Cromer to Play Stage Manager in Huntington Theatre’s Our Town

David Cromer will play the Stage Manager through December 30 in his own production of Thornton Wilder’s Our Town at The Huntington Theatre Company’s Roberts Studio Theatre. Joel Cololdner will take over for the remainder of the show’s run through January 13.

The cast will also include Richard Arum as Professor Willard, Marianna Bassham as Mrs. Soames, Nicholas Carter as Sam Craig, Paul Farwell as Constable , Stacy Fischer as Mrs. Webb, Douglas Griffin as Farmer McCarty, Melinda Lopez as Mrs. Gibbs, Kathryn Lynch as Irma, Jay Ben Markson as Joe, Jr. , Craig Mathers as Doc Gibbs, Nael Nacer as Simon Stimson, Dale Place as Joe Stoddard, Therese Plaehn as Emily, Alex Pollock as Howie, Elliot Purcell as Wally, Emily Skeggs, Christopher Tarjan as Editor Webb, Derrick Trumbly as George Gibbs, and Ryan Wenke as Si Crowell.

In addition, Suzanne Bixby, James Bocock, Anne Colpitts, Kevin Fennessy, Jeff Marcus, Ellen Peterson, Bill Salem, Ann Marie Shea, Sophie Sinclair, Ralph Stokes, and Lynn Wolcott will play citizens.

The production will feature scenic design by Stephen Dobay, costume design by Allison Siple. lighting design by Heather Gilbert, and original music and music direction by Jonathan Mastro.
