Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill Musical to Make World Premiere

Jagged Little Pill, a new musical inspired by Alanis Morissette's seminal album of the same title, will have its world premiere as part of the 2017-18 season at Cambridge's American Repertory Theater. The musical will run May 5-June 30, 2018.

Development on Jagged Little Pill the musical was first announced in 2013. Tony winner Diane Paulus will direct the production, which will feature a book by Juno Oscar winner Diablo Cody and orchestrations and arrangements by Tony and Pulitzer Prize winner Tom Kitt (Next to Normal).

Jagged Little Pill, with music by Morissette and Glen Ballard, is expected to include the album's iconic songs, including "You Oughta Know," "Hand in My Pocket," and "Ironic," as well as other Morissette tunes. Additional information is still to be announced. Vivek J. Tiwary, Arvind Ethan David, and Eva Price serve as producers.
