On Thursday, November 17, Noel Coward’s Private Lives opened at the Music Box Theater.
In the show, Kim Cattrall and Paul Gross star as divorcees Amanda and Elyot, who rekindle their feelings for each other while both are honeymooning in the South of France with their new spouses. The cast also includes Simon Paisley Day (Victor), Anna Madeley (Sybil), and Caroline Lena Olsson (Maid).
Opening night guests included Mario Cantone, Tammy Grimes (who played Amanda in Private Lives on Broadway in 1969), Carolyn Mccormick, Sonny and Gita Mehta, Cynthia Nixon (Cattrall’s co-star in Sex and the City), and Michael Stipe.
