Next to Normal Reunion! Alice Ripley and Jennifer Damiano to Star in American Psycho

There will be a Next to Normal reunion on Broadway this spring. Tony Award winner Alice Ripley and Tony nominee Jennifer Damiano will star in the new musical American Psycho at the Schoenfeld Theatre.

Damiano will play Jean, alongside Ripley as Patrick Bateman's mother and Mrs. Wolfe. Additionally, Heléne Yorke (Bullets Over Broadway) will play the role of Evelyn Williams. As previously announced, the cast is led by Benjamin Walker as Patrick Bateman.

Set in 1980s Manhattan, American Psycho follows rockstar banker Patrick Bateman, who, amid buying expensive clothes, eating at exclusive restaurants, and partying at the hottest clubs, leads a secret double life as a serial killer. American Psycho had its world premiere at the Almeida Theatre in London in December 2013.

With a score by Duncan Sheik and book by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, American Psycho is directed by Rupert Goold and choreographed by Lynne Page. Performances begin March 24, with an opening date and additional casting to be revealed in the coming months.
