Broadway's American Psycho Announces Digital Lottery and Rush Ticket Policy

The new Broadway musical American Psycho, now in previews at the Schoenfeld Theatre, has announced plans for a digital lottery as well as a rush ticket policy. The show, which is directed by Rupert Goold (King Charles III), has an official opening set for April 21.

The digital lottery will offer a limited number of $45 seats will be available online each day for that day’s performance(s). A limited number of $37 rush tickets will also be available in person at the theater's box office each day beginning at 10am. For both lottery and rush tickets, there will be a limit of two tickets per customer.

The new musical from Duncan Sheik and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa stars Benjamin Walker (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) as Patrick Bateman, a 1980s banker who leads a secret double life as a serial killer. Tony winner Alice Ripley (Next to Normal) takes on the roles of Patrick Bateman's mother and Mrs. Wolfe, alongside Jennifer Damiano (Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark) as Jean, and Heléne Yorke (Bullets Over Broadway) as Evelyn Williams.

American Psycho, inspired by the novel of the same name by Bret Easton Ellis, had its world premiere at the Almeida Theatre in London in December 2013. The production features choreography by Lynne Page, music direction by Jason Hart, music supervision and vocal arrangements by David Shrubsole, scenic design by Es Devlin, lighting design by Justin Townsend, video design by Tony Award winner Finn Ross, costume design by Katrina Lindsay, and sound design by Dan Moses Schreier.
