Inspired by the Academy Award-winning film, the musical features a book by Craig Lucas and a score of George and Ira Gershwin's iconic tunes including "I Got Rhythm," " 'S Wonderful," and "They Can't Take That Away From Me." The story follows a young American soldier and a beautiful French girl in a "timeless story of love in a city rebuilding from the heartbreak of World War II." The production is directed and choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon and stars Garen Scribner (Jerry Mulligan), alongside original leading players Leanne Cope, Brandon Uranowitz, Max von Essen, Jill Paice, and Veanne Cox.
