Tony-nominated composer and lyricist Sara Bareilles recently assumed the role of Jenny in her musical Waitress at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, and photos from the star's acting debut have finally made it out of the oven. Get them while they're hot in the gallery below.

Inspired by Adrienne Shelley's 2007 motion picture, Waitress features songs by Bareilles, a book by Jessie Nelson, and direction by Diane Paulus. The production opened April 24, 2016, and earned four Tony nominations, including Best Original Score Written for the Theatre.
