Bette Midler-Led Hello, Dolly! Revival Adds Two Matinee Performances

The additional shows will help ease demand for tickets.

The new Broadway revival of Michael Stewart and Jerry Herman's Hello, Dolly! has added two additional Wednesday performances to accommodate ticket demand. Tickets for the best seats at these 2pm matinees, scheduled for March 29 and April 12, will be sold in person only at the Shubert Theatre box office on Thursday, January 12, beginning at 10am.

Bette Midler stars in the title role, alongside David Hyde Pierce as Horace Vandergelder, Kate Baldwin as Irene Molloy, Gavin Creel as Cornelius, Taylor Trensch as Barnaby, Melanie Moore as Ermengarde, Jennifer Simard as Ernestina, Will Burton as Ambrose Kemper, and Beanie Feldstein as Minnie Fay. Two-time Tony winner Donna Murphy will play Dolly Levi during Tuesday evening performances beginning June 13.

Jerry Zaks directs and Warren Carlyle choreographs the show, which starts previews March 15 and opens April 20. The 27-member ensemble will consist of Cameron Adams, Phillip Attmore, Giuseppe Bausilio, Justin Bowen, Elizabeth Earley, Taeler Elyse Cyrus, Leslie Donna Flesner, Jenifer Foote, Jessica Lee Goldyn, Blake Hammond, Stephen Hanna, Michael Hartung, Robert Hartwell, Amanda LaMotte, Analisa Leaming, Jess LeProtto, Ian Liberto, Kevin Ligon, Michael McCormick, Nathan Madden, Linda Mugleston, Hayley Podschun, Jessica Sheridan, Michaeljon Slinger, Christian Dante White, Branch Woodman, Ryan Worsing, and Richard Riaz Yoder.

The creative team includes Santo Loquasto (scenic and costume design), Natasha Katz (lighting design), Scott Lehrer (sound design), Andy Einhorn (music direction), Larry Hochman (orchestrations), Don Pippin (vocal arrangements), and Glen Kelly (dance arrangements).
