Blackbird, Starring Jeff Daniels and Michelle Williams, Set to Open on Broadway

The Broadway premiere of Blackbird, starring Jeff Daniels and Michelle Williams, celebrates its opening night tonight, March 10, at the Belasco Theatre. The production is directed by Joe Mantello.

David Harrower's Olivier Award-winning play is described as "the story of Una and Ray. Fifteen years earlier they had a relationship and haven't set eyes on each other since. Now she's found him again." Mantello also directed the work's New York premiere at Manhattan Theatre Club in 2007, a production that starred Daniels and Alison Pill.

Blackbird's creative team includes Scott Pask (scenic design), Ann Roth (costume design), Brian MacDevitt (lighting design), and Fitz Patton (sound design).
