Tony Award winner Bebe Neuwirth (Chicago) hosted the seventh annual Broadway Salutes event on Tuesday, September 29. Directed by Marc Bruni, Broadway Salutes recognizes theater professionals for having worked 25, 35, and 50 years on Broadway and for their valuable contributions to the business.

The show featured special performances by Tony winner Nikki M. James (Les Misérables), Tony nominee Sydney Lucas (Fun Home), and Jake Lucas (The King and I), each of whom performed a song from three shows that opened the year that the Broadway Salutes honorees entered the business.

In addition to onstage performers, the annual event honors behind-the-scenes practitioners, such as agents, attorneys, box office treasurers, casting directors, choreographers, composers, designers, directors, dressers, managers, musicians, orchestrators, producers, publicists, stagehands, stage managers, stylists, theater owners, ticket sellers, ushers, writers, and many more individuals who have dedicated their careers to the success of Broadway.
