Broadway's Waitress is supporting Susan G. Komen Greater NYC during Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October with a series of initiatives at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.

Throughout October, the show's waitress uniform costumes will go pink rather than their traditional blue. The production will also generate a 2017 edition of last year's Waitress Pie Challenge and host a Charity Buzz auction offering a lot that includes three autographed pink costumes, a pair of tickets, and a meet-and-greet with the cast after the show. Pink Ribbon Pie and a Waitress ribbon pin will be sold at the show, with proceeds going to Susan G. Komen Greater NYC.

Inspired by Adrienne Shelly's 2007 motion picture, Waitress features music and lyrics by Bareilles, a book by Jessie Nelson, and direction by Diane Paulus. The production opened April 24, 2016, at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, and earned four Tony nominations.

Waitress stars Betsy Wolfe as Jenna, with Drama Desk nominee Eric Anderson (Cal), Maia Nkenge Wilson (Becky), Tony Award nominee Christopher Fitzgerald (Ogie), Drew Gehling (Dr. Pomatter), Caitlin Houlahan (Dawn), Larry Marshall (Joe), Will Swenson (Earl), Victoria Collett, Dayna Jarae Dantzler, Kayla Davion, Tyrone Davis, Jr., Matt DeAngelis, Law Terrell Dunford, Katie Grober, Molly Hager, Molly Jobe, Brandon Kalm, Max Kumangai, Anastacia McCleskey, and Stephanie Torns.

The musical is choreographed by Lorin Latarro and designed by Scott Pask (sets), Suttirat Larlarb (costumes), Christopher Akerlind (lighting), and Jonathan Deans (sound). Nadia DiGiallonardo serves as musical director.
