The stars of Come From Away celebrated the musical's new cast recording with a concert and album signing at the 86th Street Barnes & Noble on April 7. Check out photos from the event in the gallery below.

Cast members Petrina Bromley, Geno Carr, Jenn Colella, Joel Hatch, Rodney Hicks, Kendra Kassebaum, Chad Kimball, Lee MacDougall, Caesar Samayoa, Q. Smith, Astrid Van Wieren, and Sharon Wheatley all took part, alongside writers Irene Sankoff and David Hein and musical supervisor Ian Eisendrath.

The CD of the original Broadway cast recording released online and in stores on March 24. Come From Away is the first cast recording released by the Musical Company. David Lai, Ian Eisendrath, August Eriksmoen, Irene Sankoff, and David Hein serve as album producers. The musical runs at the Schoenfeld Theatre.

Featuring a book, music, and lyrics by Sankoff and Hein, Come From Away is directed by Tony nominee Christopher Ashley (Memphis) and choreographed by Tony nominee Kelly Devine (Rocky). Set against the backdrop of the tragic events of September 11, 2001, the show follows what happens when 38 planes and 6,579 passengers are forced to land in Gander, Newfoundland, doubling the population of "one small town on the edge of the world."

The production has music supervision and arrangements by Ian Eisendrath, scenic design by Beowulf Boritt, costume design by Toni-Leslie James, lighting design by Howell Binkley, sound design by Gareth Owen, and orchestrations by August Eriksmoen.
