Danny Rutigliano to Join Broadway's Holiday Inn

The Irving Berlin musical will welcome a new cast member.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced that Danny Rutigliano will replace Lee Wilkof in Broadway's Holiday Inn, The New Irving Berlin Musical beginning November 1. Directed by Gordon Greenberg and choreographed by Denis Jones, the show began preview performances on September 1 and opened officially on October 6 at Studio 54.

Rutigliano will take on the role of Danny, which he originated in the show's 2014 Goodspeed Opera House production. Wilkof played the role when the show opened on Broadway. Holiday Inn also stars Tony Award nominee Bryce Pinkham (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder) as Jim, Lora Lee Gayer (Follies) as Linda, Tony Award nominee Megan Lawrence (The Pajama Game) as Louise, Corbin Bleu (In the Heights) as Ted, and Megan Sikora (Curtains) as Lila Dixon.

Malik Akil, Will Burton, Barry Busby, Darien Crago, Caley Crawford, Jenifer Foote, Morgan Gao, Matt Meigs, Shina Ann Morris, Catherine Ricafort, Drew Redington, Amanda Rose, Jonalyn Saxer, Parker Slaybaugh, Samantha Sturm, Amy Van Norstrand, Travis Ward-Osborne, Paige Williams, Victor Wisehart, Kevin Worley, and Borris York are featured in the ensemble.

With music and lyrics by Irving Berlin, Gordon Greenberg and Chad Hodge's new book is inspired by the Academy Award-winning film Holiday Inn. The creative team includes Anna Louizos (sets), Alejo Vietti (costumes), Jeff Croiter (lights), Keith Caggiano (sound), Charles G. La Pointe (wigs), Joe Dulude II (makeup), Andy Einhorn (music director and supervisor), Larry Blank (orchestrations), Sam Davis (vocal and dance Arrangements), Bruce Pomahac (additional dance and vocal arrangements), and John Miller (music coordinator).
