John Cameron Mitchell Gives Darren Criss and Rebecca Naomi Jones Hedwig Welcome

Mitchell, Stephen Trask, and Michael Mayer introduced the new stars of the musical to Broadway.

Incoming Hedwig and the Angry Inch stars Darren Criss (Glee) and Rebecca Naomi Jones (Big Love) met the press on April 8 to preview their upcoming engagement as Hedwig and Yitzhak at Broadway's Belasco Theatre.

Jones begins performances Tuesday, April 14, and will first play opposite original Hedwig star and coauthor John Cameron Mitchell, whose run in Michael Mayer's Tony-winning revival concludes on Sunday, April 26. Criss joins Jones beginning Wednesday, April 29.

Written by Mitchell and Stephen Trask, Hedwig and the Angry Inch follows the titular transgender rock performer as she recounts her life during a concert at Broadway's Belasco Theatre, where the musical runs.
