Broadway Records announced today that it will release the original cast recording of the off-Broadway musical Ernest Shackleton Loves Me on February 9, 2018.

Written by Tony Award winner Joe DiPietro (Memphis), with music composed by Brendan Milburn and lyrics by Val Vigoda, Ernest Shackleton Loves Me "tells the story of a sleep-deprived single mom who struggles to work as a video game music composer. Unexpectedly, she is contacted across time by the famous polar explorer Ernest Shackleton. Inspired by her music, he shares his epic Antarctic journey with her in video and song."

Electro-violinist Vigoda and Wade McCollum (Wicked) starred in the production during its off-Broadway run at Tony Kiser Theater earlier this year.

The cast recording is currently available for preorder at BroadwayRecords.com and Amazon.com.
