Evan Harrington joins the Broadway cast of Chicago tonight, taking over the role of Amos Hart from Raymond Bokhour, who played his final performance at the Ambassador Theatre on January 28.

Harrington has previously appeared on Broadway in Once (Billy), Peter and the Starcatcher (Alf), The Phantom of the Opera (Piangi), and Avenue Q (Brian). His tour credits include Into the Woods (Baker), Once, The Music Man, and Camelot. He has also been seen onstage in Roundabout’s revival of The Robber Bridegroom, Assassins, Sweeney Todd, Into the Woods, and The Full Monty.

Harrington joins a cast that also stars Bianca Marroquín as Roxie Hart, Amra-Faye Wright as Velma Kelly, Tony nominee Tom Hewitt as Billy Flynn, Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Kandi Burruss as Matron "Mama" Morton, and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine.

Featuring a classic score by John Kander and Fred Ebb, Chicago tells the story of Roxie Hart, a nightclub dancer who murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her. Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media, and her rival cellmate, Velma Kelly, by hiring Chicago's slickest criminal lawyer to transform her crime into a barrage of sensational headlines. Recipient of six 1997 Tony Awards, the revival is directed by Walter Bobbie.
