Broadway Records will release the new Broadway cast recording of Fiddler on the Roof, now running at the Broadway Theatre. Produced by David Lai, Ted Sperling, and Louise Gund, the album will have its worldwide release on March 18 and be available to purchase at the Broadway Theatre beginning March 8. The recording is currently available for pre-order at the theater, on Amazon.com and on the label's website.

Featuring a book by Joseph Stein and a score by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick, Fiddler on the Roof is inspired by Sholom Alecheim's stories of the milkman Tevye, who tries to hold on to "tradition" as the world around him and his family in the little village of Anatevka changes. This Broadway production, directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher (The King and I), is the show's sixth since its record-breaking debut in 1964.

Five-time Tony nominee Danny Burstein stars as the iconic patriarch Tevye, opposite Tony nominee Jessica Hecht as Golde, Alexandra Silber as Tzeitel, Adam Kantor as Motel, Alix Korey as Yente, Samantha Massell as Hodel, Ben Rappaport as Perchik, Jessica Vosk as Fruma Sarah, Melanie Moore as Chava, Adam Dannheisser as Lazar Wolf, Aaron Young as Sasha, Nick Rehberger as Fyedka, and Karl Kenzler as the Constable.
