Jessica Vosk, the original Fruma-Sarah from the current Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof, will depart the production on August 7. Dee Roscioli (Wicked) will take on the role beginning Thursday, August 11.

The Bartlett Sher-helmed revival will end its run at the Broadway Theatre on December 31 at 2pm after 464 performances. The show began its run November 20, 2015, and opened on December 20, 2015.

Featuring a book by Joseph Stein and a score by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick, Fiddler on the Roof is inspired by Sholom Alecheim's stories of the milkman Tevye, who tries to hold on to "tradition" as the world around him and his family in the little village of Anatevka changes.

Tony nominee and Drama Desk Award winner Danny Burstein stars as the iconic patriarch Tevye, opposite Jessica Hecht as Golde, Alexandra Silber as Tzeitel, Adam Kantor as Motel, Alix Korey as Yente, Samantha Massell as Hodel, Ben Rappaport as Perchik, Melanie Moore as Chava, Nick Rehberger as Fyedka, and Karl Kenzler as the Constable.

Fiddler on the Roof boasts choreography by Hofesh Shechter, based on the original work of Jerome Robbins. The creative team also includes frequent Sher collaborators Michael Yeargan (scenic design), Catherine Zuber (costume design), Donald Holder (lighting design), and Scott Lehrer (sound design).

The production was nominated for 2016 Tonys for Best Musical Revival, Best Choreography, and Best Actor in a Musical, and received Drama Desk Awards for Outstanding Director of a Musical and Outstanding Actor in a Musical for Burstein, who also won the 2016 Outer Critics Circle Award for his performance.
