Flashback Friday: Saturday Night Fever Already Brought the Bee Gees to Broadway

The Bee Gees are getting a biomusical, but they already gave Broadway “Night Fever.”

Earlier this week, news broke that the Bee Gees may be taking their first steps toward the Great White Way. Universal Theatrical Group, the company behind hit shows like Billy Elliot and Wicked, has acquired the rights to develop a biomusical about the pop icons behind disco hits like "Night Fever," "Stayin' Alive," and "You Should Be Dancing."

It won't be their first rodeo on Broadway, having already been musically featured in the 1999 stage version of Saturday Night Fever, but it will be the first time the story of the Brothers Gibb will be center stage. And hopefully, that stage will still include the dance moves the Saturday Night Fever cast performed at the 1999 Thanksgiving Day Parade. Watch and enjoy.
