Hamilton's Original Schuyler Sisters Sing "America the Beautiful" at Super Bowl

Just before kickoff at Super Bowl LI, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Renée Elise Goldsberry, and Phillipa Soo, Hamilton's original Schuyler Sisters, reunited on the field of Houston's NRG Stadium. The trio got the festivities underway with a rendition of "America the Beautiful," featuring music arranged by Hamilton music director Alex Lacamoire. The three Broadway stars not only brought musical theater to biggest sporting event of the year, they also spiced up the patriotic song with a pinch of feminism, adding "and sisterhood" to the lyric "and crown thy good with brotherhood."
