Manhattan Theatre Club's Broadway production of Heisenberg, Simon Stephens' acclaimed two-character drama, will extend its run at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre through December 11. After premiering in 2015 at Manhattan Theatre Club's Studio at Stage II in 2015, the production began Broadway previews September 20 and opened on October 13.

Tony and Emmy winner Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds) and Denis Arndt (The Night Alive) will reprise the performances they originated off-Broadway. Mark Brokaw returns to direct, with a creative team that includes Mark Wendland (scenic design), Michael Krass (costume design), Donald Holder (lighting design), and David Van Tieghem (original music & sound design).

Heisenberg begins in a train station where Georgie (Parker) spots Alex (Arndt), a much older man, and plants a kiss on his neck. This encounter sets these two strangers on a fascinating and potentially life-changing path.

Stephens is the author ofthe 2015 Tony Award-winning Best Play The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. His other works also include Punk Rock, Bluebird, and Harper Regan.
