Hamilton Producer Jeffrey Seller to Be Honored by Manhattan Chamber of Commerce

Seller has been named “New Yorker of the Year.”

The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce will honor Hamilton producer Jeffrey Seller at its annual MCC Business Awards Breakfast on Friday, November 13.

Seller will receive the 2015 New Yorker of the Year Award. He won Tonys for the Broadway productions of Rent, Avenue Q, and In the Heights. He also produced and/or developed De La Guarda, Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party, Baz Luhrman’s production of Puccini’s La Bohème, High Fidelity, the 2009 revival of West Side Story, The Last Ship, and Hamilton.

Emmy Award-winning Fox 5 news anchor Ernie Anastos will serve as emcee for the event, which will also present the Cultural Achievement of the Year Award to the Apollo Theater Foundation.
