Jessica Hecht will play her final performance as Golde in Broadway's Fiddler on the Roof today, November 20. Hecht, who departs the production to begin preparations for Roundabout Theatre Company's spring 2017 revival of The Price, will be replaced on November 22 by Judy Kuhn.

Featuring a book by Joseph Stein and a score by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick, Fiddler on the Roof is inspired by Sholom Alecheim's stories of the milkman Tevye, who tries to hold on to "tradition" as the world around him and his family in the little village of Anatevka changes.

Directed by Tony winner Bartlett Sher, the revival production opened on December 20, 2015 at the Broadway Theatre, earning three Tony nominations, including Best Revival of a Musical. The production won 2015 Drama Desk Awards for Best Leading Actor in a Musical (Danny Burstein) and Best Direction of a Musical (Sher).

In addition to Burstein as Tevye and Hecht as Golde, the current cast stars Adam Dannheisser (Lazar Wolf), Adam Kantor (Motel), Karl Kenzler (Constable), Alix Korey (Yente), Samantha Massell (Hodel), Melanie Moore (Chava), George Psomas (Avram), Ben Rappaport (Perchik), Nick Rehberger (Fyedka), and Alexandra Silber (Tzeitel).
