Nicole Kidman to Return to Broadway in Photograph 51

Nicole Kidman, who won a WhatsOnStage Award for her performance in Anna Ziegler's new play Photograph 51, will bring that play to Broadway this fall, according to the New York Post. Kidman was last seen on Broadway in David Hare's 1998 play The Blue Room.
Michael Grandage, whose work was seen onstage this season with the Broadway revival of Eugene O'Neill's Hughie, starring Forest Whitaker, will direct and produce.
No theater has been announced, but the Post notes that the mounting will likely land at the Lyceum, current home of the limited run of Fully Committed.
Press materials for the London production described the play as "exploring the role of Rosalind Franklin (Kidman), the scientist whose insight was fundamental to the understanding of DNA but whose contribution was subsequently ignored."
Kidman's Broadway debut in The Blue Room earned her a 1999 Theatre World Award.
