Wicked Video Series Launches With "Defying Gravity" Duet for Rachel Tucker and Aaron Tveit

”Wicked” stars past and present return to sing reimagined renditions of Stephen Schwartz’s score.

The long-running Broadway musical Wicked announces the launch of the new studio session video series titled Out of Oz. The series features former and current stars of the Wizard of Oz-inspired production singing reimagined versions of its popular songs.

The first video offers a new duet arrangement of the showstopping "Defying Gravity," performed by former Fiyero Aaron Tveit and current Elphaba Rachel Tucker. Take a look at the inaugural installment below.

Wicked, now running at the Gershwin Theatre, stars Rachel Tucker as Elphaba, Kara Lindsay as Glinda, Jonah Platt as Fiyero, Michele Lee as Madame Morrible, Fred Applegate as the Wizard, Robin De Jesús as Boq, Arielle Jacobs as Nessarose, and Timothy Britten Parker as Dr. Dillamond.
