Broadway Flea Market Raises Record-Setting $782,081

The annual event benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The 30th annual Broadway Flea Market and Grand Auction, presented on September 26 by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, raised a record $782,081 for the organization.

The Broadway Flea Market and Grand Auction is an outdoor market where theater fans have the opportunity to take home one-of-a-kind show-biz memorabilia, meet Broadway stars, and bid throughout the day on exclusive Broadway items from props and costume pieces to backstage experiences.

This year's event took place take place on Shubert Alley, West 44th Street between Broadway, and Eighth Avenue, 10am-7pm. The daylong celebration featured 68 tables, 73 of the brightest stars on the Great White Way, and 206 live and silent-auction items.

The tables this year raised $395,601. The top 10 tables were Hamilton with $38,976; Wicked with $22,185; TDF’s fan favorite "Pik-a-Tik" with $17,621; Creative Goods Merchandise with $16,821; ATPAM with $16,148; Waitress with $11,705; artist Justin "Squigs" Robertson and the Lights of Broadway Show Cards with $11,602; Reel Time Video Production with $11,115; School of Rock with $10,433; and The Color Purple with $10,404. The day concluded in Shubert Alley with the live auction, which raised a record-breaking $301,400.

The 30 editions of the Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction have collectively raised $12.6 million. This year’s total broke the last year's record of $756,655.
