Sara Bareilles to Be Honored by Covenant House

Waitress composer and star Sara Bareilles will be honored at the Night of Broadway Stars benefit on Monday, May 22, at Jazz at Lincoln Center. The annual event, a benefit for Covenant House, will be directed by Jeff Calhoun and hosted by Brian Stokes Mitchell.
Bareilles will receive the Beacon of Hope Award in recognition of her work inspiring millions of girls, young women and LGBTQ youth to be proud, strong, brave, and resilient.
On hand to perform will be Jessie Mueller, Stephanie J. Block, Gavin Creel, Capathia Jenkins, Killian Donnelly, Ana Villafañe, Luca Padovan, and the ensemble casts of Kinky Boots, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, and On Your Feet! More cast members will be announced next month.
