Waitress star and composer Sara Bareilles will host the Thursday, February 1, edition of "Cast Album Karaoke."

Following the performance that night, audience members will be given the chance to sing one minute of any song in the show on the Brooks Atkinson Theatre stage, accompanied by the production's musical director. Interested audience members will be able to sign up before the show.

Inspired by Adrienne Shelly's 2007 motion picture, Waitress features songs by Sara Bareilles, a book by Jessie Nelson, and direction by Diane Paulus. The production opened April 24, 2016, at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, and earned four Tony nominations.

The Waitress principal company includes Bareilles (Jenna), Jason Mraz (Dr. Pomatter), NaTasha Yvette Williams (Becky), Caitlin Houlahan (Dawn), Christopher Fitzgerald (Ogie), Joe Tippett (Earl), Dakin Matthews (Joe), and Benny Elledge (Cal). Drew Gehling will return to the role of Dr. Pomatter beginning February 13 following Mraz's run in the show.
