Look Inside Scenes From The Band's Visit on Broadway

The intimate new musical celebrates its Broadway opening on November 9.

The Band's Visit, a new musical by David Yazbek and Itamar Moses, is now running at Broadway's Ethel Barrymore Theatre. Based on the film by Eran Kolirin, the production tells the story of the Alexandria Ceremonial Police Band, which lands in Israel and is inadvertently sent in the wrong direction. Soon, the band finds itself in a small settlement in the heart of the Negev desert with no transportation going out until morning and no hotel in sight.

Katrina Lenk and Tony Shalhoub costar as Dina and Tewfiq, reprising their roles from the original Atlantic Theater Company production, alongside fellow Atlantic cast members John Cariani (Itzik), Ari'el Stachel (Haled), George Abud (Camal), Andrew Polk (Avrum), Bill Army (Zelger), Rachel Prather (Julia), Jonathan Raviv (Sammy), Sharone Sayegh (Anna), Kristen Sieh (Iris), and Alok Tewari (Simon). Etai Benson (Papi) and Adam Kantor (Telephone Guy) complete the company.
