Joshua Harmon's Significant Other, Starring Gideon Glick, Opens on Broadway

The play’s Broadway premiere follows a 2015 production with Roundabout Theatre Company.

Broadway's new play Significant Other by Joshua Harmon (Bad Jews) celebrates its official opening tonight. Directed by Trip Cullman, the show began previews February 14 at the Booth Theatre.

An exploration of single life in the city, Significant Other follows Jordan Berman and his three closest friends as they navigate love, friendship, and New York in the their twentysomething years. The show premiered off-Broadway in 2015 in a Roundabout Theatre Company production. Reprising their performances on Broadway are Gideon Glick, Barbara Barrie, John Behlmann, Sas Goldberg, Lindsay Mendez, and Luke Smith. New to the company is Broadway veteran Rebecca Naomi Jones.

The creative team includes off-Broadway designers Mark Wendland (sets), Kaye Voyce (costumes), and Japhy Weideman (lighting), as well as choreographer Sam Pinkleton. Sound designer Daniel Kluger is new for the Broadway mounting.
