The Broadway company of The Lion King will welcome a host of new cast members beginning July 5.

Derek Smith, Cameron Pow, and Adrienne Walker are set to join the show in the roles of Scar, Zazu, and Nala, respectively. Only Walker is new to the company. Smith played the role of Scar on Broadway and on tour beginning in 2000, and Pow played Zazu on Broadway and the West End. Smith will stay with the company through October 9, at which point current cast member Gareth Saxe will reassume the role of Scar.

From Tuesday, July 12, through Sunday, August 28, Ben Lipitz, who recently celebrated his 5,000th performance as Pumbaa on the North American tour, will play the role in New York while Broadway’s Pumbaa, Ben Jeffrey, joins the Broadway cast of Aladdin.
