The event will feature appearances and performances from artists who contributed to the album and more.

With The Hamilton Mixtape, an album of songs inspired by the hit Broadway musical Hamilton, set to drop December 2, several artists who contributed to the project will celebrate at a pre-show #Ham4Ham performance. At 1pm today, before the Broadway matinee of Lin-Manuel Miranda's much-loved musical, the stars will gather at the Richard Rodgers Theatre for a special event that will be streamed live here:

Artists who recorded music for The Hamilton Mixtape include The Roots, Busta Rhymes, Nas, Usher, Sia, Queen Latifah, Miguel, Regina Spektor, Ben Folds, Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys, K'naan, Snow tha Product, Riz MC, Residente, Jimmy Fallon, Ashanti, Ja Rule, Jill Scott, Dessa, Andra Day, Wiz Khalifa, John Legend, Ingrid Michaelson, Chance the Rapper, and more.

Directed by Thomas Kail and inspired by Ron Chernow's biography Alexander Hamilton, Hamilton explores the life of the American founding father and first Secretary of the Treasury, as well as his experiences as an orphan of the British West Indies who immigrated to the 13 Colonies and helped shape the United States of America. The show, which had its world premiere at the Public Theater, features a hip-hop score by Tony winner Lin-Manuel Miranda.
