Cape Cod Theatre Project Season to Include Directors Hal Brooks, Carolyn Cantor, Jean-Michele Gregory, Leigh Silverman

Directors have been announced for upcoming productions at The Cape Cod Theatre Project’s 18th Season.

As previously reported, the season includes productions of Chrysalis by Joshua Allen, American Hero by Bess Wohl, and The Money Shot by Neil LaBute, as well as a new work by Mike Daisey.

American Hero (July 12-14), which tells the story of abandoned workers at a fast food restaurant, will be directed by Leigh Silverman. Carolyn Cantor directs The Money Shot (July 26-28), a comedy about two Hollywood actors trying to decide how to tell their partners about the love scene they are about to film. Daisey’s frequent collaborator Jean-Michele Gregory will direct his new piece, running July 5-7. Chrysalis (July 19-21), about a young girl in love with her step-brother, will be directed by Hal Brooks.
