New Casting Announced for Chicago’s Million Dollar Quartet

Brandon Bennett, Heather Marie Marsden, Brad Ber and Dan Leall are joining the Chicago company of Million Dollar Quartet, playing at the Apollo Theatre.

The musical is inspired by the famed 1956 recording session that brought together Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, and Elvis Presley — along with Sam Phillips, founder of Sun Records. Eric Schaeffer and Floyd Mutrux have directed the production, which features a book by Colin Escott and Mutrux.

In addition to Bennett (Elvis Presley), Marsden (Dyanne) Ber (Jay Perkins/Bass player) and Leali (Fluke/Drummer), the company features Gabe Bowling (Carl Perkins), Lance Lipinsky (Jerry Lee Lewis), Sean Sullivan (Johnny Cash), and Tim Decker (Sam Phillips).

Bennett has performed with groups as The Jordanaires, DJ Fontana and The Sweet Inspirations and most recently been seen in The Elvis Story in Quebec. Marsden’s stage credits include the national tour of Sweet Charity and the world premiere of the musical Mask. Ber has toured nationally as a bass player and is also a recording artist and songwriter. Leall, in addition to having an active career as a songwriter, is a founding member of the band Tributosaurs.
