Complete casting has been announced for the world-premiere musical War Paint, debuting at Chicago's Goodman Theatre on June 28.

Joining the previously announced Patti LuPone (Gypsy), and Christine Ebersole (Grey Gardens), John Dossett (Dear Evan Hansen), and Douglas Sills (Living on Love), are Mary Ernster (The House of Martin Guerre), Leslie Donna Flesner (An American in Paris), David Girolmo (The House of Martin Guerre), Joanna Glushak (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder), Chris Hoch (Matilda The Musical), Mary Claire King (Catch Me If You Can), Steffanie Leigh (Gigi), Erik Liberman (The Hunchback of Notre Dame), Barbara Marineau (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder), Stephanie Jae Park (The King and I), and Angel Reda (Chicago).

Inspired by Lindy Woodhead's book War Paint, as well as Ann Carol Grossman and Arnie Reisman's PBS documentary The Powder & the Glory, the show examines the ascent and rivalry of Helena Rubenstein and Elizabeth Arden, whose 50-year tug-of-war gave birth to an industry. LuPone will take on the role of Rubenstein, and Ebersole will play Arden, with Dossett as Arden's husband, Tommy Lewis, and Sills as Harry Fleming, Rubeinstein's confident.

War Paint features a book by Doug Wright and score by Scott Frankel and Michael Korie, and is directed by Michael Greif, the team behind the musical Grey Gardens, in which Ebersole starred.

Choreographed by Christopher Gattelli (The King and I), the production's creative team includes David Korins (set design), Catherine Zuber (costume design), Kenneth Posner (lighting design) and Brian Ronan (sound design), as well as Bruce Coughlin (orchestrations), and Lawrence Yurman (music director).
