During an exclusive member event last night at Goodspeed Musicals, executive director Michael Gennaro announced three productions slated for the theater's 2018 season.

In the spring, Goodspeed will produce The Will Rogers Follies, running from April 13-June 21, 2018, with direction by Don Stephenson. The production will star David Lutken, who appeared in the original Broadway production of the show, which opened in 1991 and earned the Tony Award for Best Musical. Inspired by the words of Will and Betty Rogers, the show features a book by Peter Stone, music by Cy Coleman, and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green. The original New York production was directed and choreographed by Tommy Tune.

Next will be Lionel Bart's Oliver!, running from June 29-September 9, 2018. The production will be directed by Rob Ruggiero, who helms Goodspeed's current production of Rags.

The fall of 2018 will then bring Bullets Over Broadway, the musical adaptation of Woody Allen's 1994 mobster comedy film. Written by Allen and based on the screenplay of the film by Allen and Douglas McGrath, the production will be directed by Gordon Greenberg. Performances will run from September 21-November 25, 2018.
