Tony Award winner Michael Grandage (Red) will take the reins of the upcoming stage musical version of Frozen, Disney Theatrical Productions has announced. Grandage replaces the previously announced Alex Timbers, who parted ways with the show in August.

Grandage will direct the show's scheduled August 2017 premiere at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts before it moves to Broadway's St. James Theatre in spring 2018. The organization also announced that Grandage's frequent collaborator, Tony winner Christopher Oram, will design the show's sets and costumes. He replaces Tony winner Bob Crowley, who had been previously announced.

Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez (The Book of Mormon, Avenue Q), who received Oscars for their Frozen tune "Let It Go," will pen the show's full score, with the film's screenwriter and codirector Jennifer Lee penning the book.

Further information will be revealed in the coming months.
