Trevor Nunn will direct a revival of Alan Ayckbourn’s A Chorus of Disapproval, running September 17-January 5 at the Harold Pinter Theatre. The production will officially open on September 27.

Rob Brydon, Nigel Harman, and Ashley Jensen lead the cast of the comedy, which follows the trials, tribulations, and rivalries within a production of John Gay’s The Beggar’s Opera, as presented by the Pendon Amateur Light Operatic Society.

They are joined by Teresa Banham, Daisy Beaumont, Georgia Brown, Rob Compton, Matthew Cottle, and Steven Edis, who also serves as the musical director.

Rob Jones will design sets and costumes, with lighting by Tim Mitchell, and sound by Fergus O’Hare. The revival is produced by Sonia Friedman productions.
