Louise Dearman, Katie Rowley Jones to Return to London’s Wicked

Louise Dearman, who played Glinda from March 2010 to December 2011, will return to the show’s London cast to star as Elphaba starting October 29 at the Apollo Victoria Theatre.

Based on a book by Winnie Holzman, Wicked is one of the top 20 longest-running musicals in West End history. The show features music and lyrics by Academy Award-winner Stephen Schwartz and is directed by Tony Award winner Joe Mantello.


The new cast will also include Katie Rowley Jones as Nessarose, the role she originated in 2006, as well as Ben Freeman (Fiyero), Louise Plowright (Madame Morrible), Sam Lupton (Boq), Hayley Gallivan (Standby Elphaba), and Lucy van Gasse (Standby Glinda).


In addition, Gina Beck, Keith Bartlett and Christopher Howell, will continue in their current starring roles as Glinda, The Wizard and Doctor Dillamond respectively.
