The company’s next presentation will be the world premiere of a new musical Marguerite, May 6-November 1, with music by Michel Legrand, a book by Alain Boublil, Claude-Michel Schonberg, and Kent, and lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer from the original French ones by Boublil. Olivier Award winner Ruthie Henshall will play the title role, the beautiful and notorious mistress of a high ranking German officer in World War II who falls in love with a musician half her age.

Both shows will feature designs by Paul Brown, lighting by Mark Henderson, and sound by Paul Groothius. Kent was previously co-artistic director of the Almeida. Among his many notable credits are Medea, Hamlet, and Faith Healer, all of which transferred to Broadway.
