The Color Purple Tony Award winner Cynthia Erivo has released a deluxe edition of her debut album with songwriter Scott Alan. The recording also features West End star Oliver Tompsett (Wicked). The new edition of "Cynthia Erivo and Oliver Tompsett Sing Scott Alan," a two-disc, 28-track album, is now available as a digital release.

A new Tony winner, Erivo is currently reprising her West End performance in the Broadway revival of The Color Purple opposite Tony winner Heather Headley and Tony nominee Danielle Brooks (Orange Is the New Black). Adapted from the novel of the same name by Alice Walker, The Color Purple features a book by Marsha Norman with music and lyrics by Brenda Russell, Allee Willis, and Stephen Bray. John Doyle's Tony-winning production opened on December 10 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre.

Scott Alan has toured the world and has sold out concerts in Japan, London, Holland, Germany, Barcelona, Scotland, Australia, and various cities in South and North America. After the 2007 release of his debut album Dreaming Wide Awake, Alan has gone on to release six follow up albums that include Keys, What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up, Live, Anything Worth Holding on To, and Greatest Hits: Volume One.
