Freed, Kolvenbach, Nottage, et al. Join Pacific Playwrights Festival

The complete line-up for South Coast Repertory’s 11th annual Pacific Playwrights Festival, to run April 5-May 4, has been announced.

As previously reported, the festival will feature full productions of Richard Greenberg’s new play The Injured Party, directed by Trip Cullman, and
Nancy Bell, Marin Hinkle, Matt Letscher, and Kevin Rahm in the world premiere of Kate Robin’s What They Have, to be directed by Chris Fields.

In addition, the festival will include a workshop production of Sharr White’s Sunlight, directed by David Emmes, about a college president who thrives on controversy, and staged readings of four new works: Lynn Nottage’s By the Way, Meet Vera Stark, directed by Mark Rucker; John Kolvnebach’s Goldfish, directed by Loretta Greco; Lauren Gunderson’s Emilie, directed by Kate Whoriskey; and Amy Freed’s You, Nero, directed by Sharon Ott.
