Broadway’s A Bronx Tale — The Musical will launch a national tour during the fall 2018 season. The tour will play full and multiweek engagements during the 2018-19 season and beyond, with stops at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles (November 6-25), the Broward Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (June 11-23, 2019), and additional cities to be announced in the coming weeks.

Based on the critically acclaimed play that inspired the now classic film, this streetwise musical will take you to the stoops of the Bronx in the 1960s — where a young man is caught between the father he loves and the mob boss he’d love to be. Featuring an original doo-wop score, this is a tale about respect, loyalty, love, and, above all else, family.

A Bronx Tale features a book by Chazz Palminteri based on his play, with a score by Alan Menken and Glenn Slater. The production is codirected by Jerry Zaks and Robert De Niro, with choreography by Sergio Trujillo, music supervision and arrangements by Ron Melrose, orchestrations by Doug Besterman, musical direction by Jonathan Smith, and fight choreography by Robert Westley.

The design team includes Beowulf Boritt (scenic design), William Ivey Long (costume design), Howell Binkley (lighting design), Gareth Owen (sound design), Paul Huntley (hair and wig design), and Anne Ford-Coates (makeup design).

Casting for the tour will be revealed at a later date.
