Tony winner and TV talk show host James Corden will serve as emcee at the annual Television Critics Association Awards, which will be held on August 8 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.

Corden currently heads CBS' Late Late Show, which he took over earlier this year from previous host Craig Ferguson. He is best known to New York theatergoers for his Tony-winning performance in Richard Bean's One Man, Two Guvnors in 2012. He also performed in the 2004 Broadway cast of The History Boys and the film version of that play.

On-screen, Corden starred as the Baker in the recent Into the Woods film. He is a BAFTA winner for his work on his three-season BBC series Gavin & Stacey. He was honored with an OBE (Order of the British Empire) for his services to entertainment and charity by the Queen of England during the annual New Year's Honors in 2014.
