Ken Jeong, David Alan Grier, PrettyMuch Join Cast of A Christmas Story Live!

Ken Jeong, David Alan Grier, and the band PrettyMuch will join the cast of A Christmas Story Live! Jeong will play both a Christmas tree salesman and a restaurant owner, Grier will play Santa Claus, and PrettyMuch will take on the roles of the Hohman, Indiana carolers.
The three-hour live television event is inspired by the holiday classic feature A Christmas Story and Benj Pasek, Justin Paul, and Joseph Robinette's Tony Award-nominated Broadway production A Christmas Story: The Musical. Set to air on December 17, it is directed and executive-produced by Scott Ellis. Marc Platt and Adam Siegel will executive-produce, with Jonathan Tolins and Robert Cary serving as coexecutive producers and writers.
The company includes Andy Walken as Ralphie, Maya Rudolph as Ralphie's mother, Matthew Broderick as the narrator, Jane Krakowski as Miss Shields, Ana Gasteyer as Mrs. Schwartz, and Chris Diamantopoulos as the Old Man.
