She Loves Me Tony nominee Scott Ellis will helm the upcoming live NBC broadcast of Aaron Sorkin's A Few Good Men. Presented by veteran producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, the drama will air in early 2017.

A Few Good Men follows the court-martial of two U.S. Marines who killed a fellow Marine at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base in Cuba. First produced on Broadway in 1989, it later became an acclaimed film starring Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson. Sorkin will pen the teleplay the broadcast.

Along with She Loves Me, Ellis received Tony nominations for his productions of Steel Pier, 1776, Curtains, Twelve Angry Men, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and You Can't Take It With You. His television directing work includes episodes of Modern Family, Nurse Jackie, Desperate Housewives, Frasier, and 30 Rock, for which he received a 2007 Emmy nomination.
