The Book of Will begins performances tonight at Round House Theatre.

Lauren Gunderson's play is described as follows: "What if Shakespeare’s works had been lost forever? After the death of their friend and mentor, two actors are determined to compile the First Folio and preserve the words that shaped their lives. They’ll just have to borrow, beg, and band together to get it done."

The production features Maboud Ebrahimzadeh, Mitchell Hébert, Kimberly Gilbert, Marni Penning, Christopher Michael Richardson, Todd Scofield, Katie Kleiger, Brandon McCoy, Cody LeRoy Wilson, and Michael Russotto. Ryan Rilette directs.

The creative team includes Paige Hathaway (scenic design), Kendra Rai (costume design), Jesse Belsky (lighting design), Matthew M. Nielson (sound design), and dialect coach Melissa Flaim.

Performances continue through December 24.
